CSR is an Australian based manufacturing leader with operations in building supply, sugar and aluminum smelter. They are also in the process of branching out into industrial land sales. Founded in 1855, they are one of the oldest companies in Australia. For the 2008/2009 financial year, they reported an 8% increase in revenue with nearly $3,500 million derived from ordinary activities. They also had a 12.2 cent earnings per share before significant items. With a proven track record and solid financials, CSR has solidified itself as one of the manufacturing strongholds in Australia today.
